Tunics for autumn give perfect comfort to your body

With the cool weather of autumn, when the air is not chilly but cool, we can try out some outfits which do not match the summer or winter weather. And when we are talking of autumn fashion, how can we forget wool? Woolen tunics are the latest fashion in the women’s fashion world this autumn, and the wide collection of these tunics allows professional women to choose some as their business clothing this year.

These woolen tunics touch the knees or finish just above the knees, but the new twist in the styling starts from smarter tailoring. Slight tailoring is given to the waist portion of the tunic to give it a more flattering look, and the hems are mainly asymmetrical to give it a playful look. The fabric is obviously very refined to give perfect comfort to the body in this season. The sleek design and style of a tunic allows the dress to become work clothing as well, and additional embellishments in the design transform this simple but elegant tunic into evening party wear also. If you are not shivering, you can opt for a dress for parties, but for office wear, pair it up with skinny pants or bell bottoms to complete your business clothing. This woolen garment is itself very fashionable and elegant, so try a high-contrast color for the pants if you are pairing them up. Now, put on a long chain with a pendant, and it will be perfect for both your work clothing and your party wear.

Different Types of Corporate Uniforms

Last day we had discussed the pros and cons of having to wear corporate uniforms to work daily. There is a big difference between the kinds of uniforms used by employees based on the industry they are working for.

Industrial workwear are made using quality fabric keeping in mind the usage. Most often the material used to create these apparels is fire resistant and it so created to provide protection as well as comfort to the industrial workers. These industrial work apparels are durable, light in weight, highly functional and stitched to perfection. Most industrial work wear can further be segregated into coveralls, overalls, protective gear, pants, lab coats, jackets, vests and shirts. Sometimes, even specific head gear is prescribed and might be supplied with these industrial work apparels.

The next in the line of uniforms is the one which is meant to be worn by hospitality workers. Hospitality work wear has the features which include fine fabric, coordinated design, accessories to match, exquisite design and a high degree of comfort as well as functionality. This segment includes work wear like catering uniforms, t-shirts, overalls, restaurant staff uniforms, tunics, chef’s uniforms, nursing uniforms, waiter’s or butler’s uniform, etc.

There is another class of workwear- called corporate workwear which includes office shirts, casual dresses, formal dresses, office coats, jackets, pants etc. These could be monogrammed or printed to customize it as per the requirement of any corporate house.

A very special care goes into creating the dress code of any aviation industry staff. With so many private airlines spurting across the world, each airline company wants to give its company uniform a distinct identity which can help their employees, the ground staff and cabin crew as well.

The Right Apparel to Wear to Office Parties- Part I

We know by now the basic rules we must play by when it comes to dressing up for work and office. There are ample choices in the realm of business apparels or corporate wear. Another sensitive issue which requires attention and cannot be ignored is what to wear to office parties. It is important to attend these parties as though it involves social interaction, it is for the sake of your business and professional life. Also, you are invited to a party which would involve your office colleagues, superiors and sometimes even clients. So, the impression you create is very important. A small slip here and it can act as a catalyst in affecting your professional image negatively.

So when it comes to party apparels which are right to be worn at office parties you must abide by certain rules. You must not wear clothes which you would generally wear when partying with close friends. The clothes you wear to your office party should not be vibrantly colorful and when it comes to colors- black, brown and dark blues are the safest.

Sporting smart casuals which do not reveal much and at the same time do not make you appear uptight and severe are the right options. You should not wear overtly expensive clothes as they might create a wrong impression. Also, if it your boss who is throwing the party, you must take care not to appear more dressy than him/her. You should look relaxed but not too flashy. The safe bet for women is hemlines which are not too short and tunics or blouses which do not reveal more than they conceal. For men, they should avoid tees with weird and outrageous messages on them and should stick to jeans or casual trousers.
