For the “Corporate” Mom-to-be- A Maternity Business Suit Which Exudes Style and is Comfortable too

A couple of weeks back we had discussed about the right and comfortable corporate wear for the mother-to-be who is a working woman and has to juggle her domestic front as well as her career with the same élan.

If the woman who is expecting a child soon, is working in a corporate world which has strict do’s and don’ts when it comes to work-wear and style, she might have to abide by the rules and yet play safe where her comfort is concerned. Women in the top rungs of the corporate ladder are used to wearing pant suits or skirt suits, especially when they have to meet clients or make presentations on a regular basis. For expecting mothers, there is a wide range of professional and stylish maternity clothes available today. If a woman is working her way through the third trimester, which is not a novel scene anymore, then she might even have to invest in a maternity business suit.

Just as there are jeans and trousers which are styled, keeping in mind the comfort level an expecting mother would need during her nine-months, there are business suits which are specially designed for these women and are created in soft and stretchable fabrics which come with adjustable panels. Some well-known designers also cater to this niche market related to maternity business/work wear apparels. They create jackets which can allow a woman to move freely and also support her wider frame as the pregnancy progresses through the second and third trimesters. Women should opt for suits which have longer jackets as it will help them camouflage the growing bump. Also, the trousers should not be too fitted at the thighs as it would restrict free movement.

For the moms-to-be who do not want to compromise on their style, there are many online websites which can allow them the ease to shop for awesome professional maternity clothing including maternity business suits and suit separates.

Suits Are ‘In’ For the Working Woman of Today

Women have a difficult time every morning before going to work- it is certainly not easy to decide on the work wear, especially when there is an important presentation or client you must meet. If she is a working m a single mother who has to juggle work and home, she has all the more problems with finding enough time to go shopping before the crucial day.

Believe me, business suits do not have to be dull and boring anymore. You can look shapely as well exude the right degree of professionalism, style and confidence if you choose the right cut and color. If you are picking up a suit off the rack, as in choosing a ready to wear business suit, then first consider your budget and then decide on the brand. Most leading designers, retail ready to wear corporate apparel for the working women. They are not only reasonably priced but are extremely comfortable too.

Work suits for women can be either skirt suits or pant suits. The latter being a more popular option, deserves special care as wearing a pant suit does not mean that you cannot look feminine in it. You can opt for a flared pant suit when it comes to your executive style suit, if you want to exude a youthful spirit. If you want to play it safe with something classier, a pinstripe woman’s pantsuit might be the one for you. In dark colors like navy blue or black, they can make any woman appear business-like.

If you want to sport a skirt suit, remember that short skirts do not go as well as the knee-length, straight skirts. If you pick up something which is ready to wear, do get it altered to fit your exact measurements as badly fitted work wear can make you appear shoddy and careless.

Corporate Suits- Simple Tips to Help You Select Suits which ‘suit’ Bulky Frames

Men who are on the bulky side are always wary when they want to try out something new, especially so when it comes to corporate apparels or work wear. It is a wrong notion that suits add volume to your frame. If you choose the fabric and cut wisely, it can in fact help you to camouflage your flaws.

The adage that “less is more” applies in the realm of men’s business suits and work suits also. Yes, go for the fitted suits which not only help you streamline your appearance, they make you look sleek and suave. Today’s trend is towards a fit which is slimmer, more so near the shoulders, and also hemlines which are shorter.

Vertical stripes go a long way to make you look trimmer by creating an illusion of height. If stripes are not your thing then just go for simple solids. Darker, more solid colors work wonders to make you look lighter! Opt for the classic black or dark navy if you are confused. With these colors, you can never go wrong.

When it comes to the right jacket, go for the one with two buttons as this can suit any body type. Also, single vents allow the necessary movement without attracting any undue attention to the bulky backside. You can opt for a continental or Italian suit which is vent-less at the back as it will have a further slimming effect. A three button blazer will also make you look visibly taller, if you keep the top button undone. British suits also never go out of style and are good for a broader frame.

With the pants or trousers, avoid the pleats as it draws attention to the bulky belly or pelvic region. Plain fronts work for all body types and more so with those who do not want to look bulkier than what they already are.

Use these simple tips which will never let you go wrong with business suits and your corporate work wear.

Suits Which You Can Wear to Work

A lot has been said as well as written about the right kind of corporate apparel or work wear for women. Today’s metro-sexual man is as aware of what to wear to work as his female counterpart. Wearing the right corporate apparel exudes style as well as confidence.

The correct fit of a suit can really help in changing the entire look and appeal of a man. Suits can be formal as well as semi-formal. Also, there is a lot of difference between suits which you can wear to weddings and parties and those which can be worn to work.

The suits can be bespoke, ready to wear or tailor made depending on how much you want to spend on them. The style and cut you opt for is very important as this plays the role of a catalyst in changing your personality and look. If you are tall, you can opt for a double breasted suit but this is a strict no-no for someone who is short and sturdy. If you are on the stouter side, try the single breasted suit, which can suit all body frames.

When it comes to corporate wear, business suits rule the roost. In the course of your daily work routine, you meet numerous clients, employees, potential customers, etc, and the impression you create is crucial for your success at work. You can even opt for a casual business suit and leave out the tie which is not mandatory if you are not attending a seminar or presentation.

Nothing can beat the perfect fit of a made to measure or tailored suit. Not only does it fit best, you are more comfortable as you had a say on the fabric, color as well as the cut. Budget suits are normally brought off the rack and can be altered in size to fit you better. Suits as work wear should come in solid colors like navy, charcoal grey or even the occasional darkest brown.

Remember, the corporate apparels you choose should be stylish, impressive, smart and above all comfortable.

The Casual Fridays concept emerged some time in the late 1950’s, in the US and Canada. On Fridays, many office goers started wearing casual clothes as opposed to traditional work wear. Over time, many modifications were introduced to the concept. Different companies started assigning different days when the employees could sport casual clothes to office. In the 1970’s, a new idea of business casuals appeared. In the 1990’s, this concept became very popular.
