The Do’s and don’ts for men’s business casual look

The word business casual could mean very different from its normal connotation in organizations where it is considered a dress code. In current corporate parlance, it could denote a comfortable but professional and tidy look. There are some ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’ which one can follow keeping this look in mind.
Do’s:
You can always be armed with some ties which can add the zing to your outfit if you have sudden business visitors.
Wearing comfortable fabrics like cotton saves you from embarrassing situations like body odor and dirty stains.
Socks should be of the right length and the leather shoes should be polished but one should not forget belts as its an important accessory.
The clothing should be preferably light colored and iron to avoid the dowdy look.
Smelling nice and looking tidy goes a long way in creating a good impression.
Don’ts:
Faded or worn out look just creates a negative impression. Also denims and jeans look just overtly casual.
Wearing informal clothing to business meets does not show too highly of you when you are representing an organization.
Clothes should be well fit and properly accessorized to create the casual but professional look.
Always remember that investing in the right office attire can help you tremendously in your professional life.
