Although corporate apparel trends are strictly followed in the corporate world, yet many people do not have any idea about the types of corporate dressing. Here, the types of corporate dressing are discussed which can throw enough light to the trends and types of corporate dressing.
Broadly classified there are 3 main types of “business dress” that you need to know before you get into dressing . The three types of dress codes are: Professional Dress, Business Casual and Campus Casual.
1. Professional Dress
Professional dress is the conservative type of business wear. It’s a completely workwear in the fields like accounting, finance, or other conservative industries. For women, business suit or pants suit, or dress and jacket are the high class corporate outfit. For men, professional dress means a business suit complemented with a blazer, dress pants and a tie.
2. Business Casual
This is a new kind of “Professional Dress”, which makes you feel relaxed but remember that it does not mean a casual , happy-go-lucky appearance. It can be a office wear in a semi-conservative workplace. Business casual outfit includes a shirt with a collar and/or a sweater, khakis or dress pants and nice shoes. For women business can corporate casual wear refers to a moderate length dress or skirt.
3. Campus Casual
Campus casual is what you should avoid in office. You can wear campus casual during on-campus interviews and career days.
